Melodic maestro French-Canadian producer @gabrhome and the versatile @evrenfurtuna use their different cultural backgrounds to create an evocative, watery melodic exploration named after that traveller in two worlds, the salmon, swimming now against, now with the current, in waters both sweet and salt. ‘Salmo Salar’ has a sizzling summer touch. Its intro blends mingling mood-inducing chords in voices and strings, taking us underwater before a light but determined beat kicks in, spangled with piano arpeggios and snatches of melody as the spiritual vocals continue to evoke a watery vibe. The sustained breakdown surprises with a new clarinet tune, almost middle eastern, marking a shift of phase, after which a freer, jazzy feel predominates. ‘Salmo Salar’ launches on Saisons on July 10.

The DJ & producer Nhii looks back on a great history of releases on labels like Flying Circus, Sirin Music, A Tribe Called Kotori and Kindisch. We are happy to welcome the New York based artist to curate a new Kindisch Stories album in 2021, showcasing his beautiful Organic House sound. After years of producing music under various guises, Jon Charnis found his true calling in the slower, darker, and deeper spheres of House music. The re-invention manifested beyond music as the former DC native relocated to the city of Los Angeles while launching his new moniker (his actual birth name). From then on it didn't take long for him to make an impression. His track 'Prophecy' was spotted by Innervisions boss Dixon, who signed the track to his prestigious Berlin based label after road testing it at some of the world's premier parties. He followed this up with an official remix of Art Department and Damian Lazarus' Burning Man anthem, ‘Robot Heart’ on No.19 records. The streak continued with releases on more top labels including All Day I Dream, Supernature, Connaisseur, and Endless.  
Jon Charnis's music receives regular support by renowned DJs such as Dixon, Lee Burridge, Tale of Us, Hernan Cattaneo, and John Digweed to name a few. As a DJ, Jon Charnis' international profile rose just as quickly. With gigs at Space, Ibiza and Sonar, Barcelona under his belt, his first year saw Jon playing across the globe at other hotspots in Berlin, Munich, London, and Amsterdam. Jon is a regular fixture at Burning Man, where routinely helms the Robot Heart bus, as well as party hotspots such as Cityfox, Zero, SXM Festival, and Modernity. As the world returns to normality, 2022 sees a fresh start for Jon Charnis with a fresh new forthcoming EP on All Day I Dream as well as joining their roster at ADID showcases. The journey continues..
