The fact that Christmas is coming doesn't mean you will not be able to fully enjoy this disco-bumpy and summer-smelling EP from Iñaki Hurtado aka Hurlee. 5th release of the uprising label Poetry in Motion presents two original tracks from the Mallorcan DJ (and label co-owner) and a remix by the good hands of Ziggy Phunk, a prolific Disco & House producer hailing from Copenaghen.

Any other words would be superfluous for this incredible EP, so that we just want you to put on a pair of cushy shoes (better look for an 80's model of it), to press the play button and start to dance and enjoy to the maximum! A bunch of fun is guaranteed!

Jazzanova consume to welcome a series of excellent remixes of tracks form their latest and great album, The Pool. Next up is the legendary house shaman Osunlade, who serves up four fantastic versions of ‘Everything I Wanted’ feat. Charlotte OC. 

Osunlade is the Yoruba Records boss and spiritual character with an uplifting, jazzy, deep and afro tinged house sound. Born in St Louis, Missouri, he is a hugely prolific musician, composer and producer who brings spellbinding moods and grooves to everything he does, as these four new remixes prove once again. 

Opening things up is the Yoruba Soul Mix, which flips the original into a steamy, surging house track with smeared synths propping up the expressive vocal and loose percussion. An instrumental version of this one allows the soft edged keys and supple rubber drums to come to the fore and cast their spell on the dance floor. 

Then comes a Beats Mix which is all about the woody, organic drums and scattered hits. The result is a warm and infectious track that is perfectly designed to get bodies moving, and last of all is a Yoruba Soul Stripped Mix. The fantastic vocal is the centre piece, with knocking percussion and underlapping drums all adding to the spine tingling nature of this most soulful house track. 

Over the past decade the German group, consisting of Alexander Barck, Claas Brieler, Jürgen von Knoblauch, Stefan Leisering and Axel Reinemer, have worked on a multitude of projects. They’ve toured live with the band, hosted radio shows, DJed, remixed tracks by Hugh Masekela, Joe Bataan, Aron Ottignon, Malika Ayane (and many more), curated their labels Sonar Kollektiv and Notes On A Journey and recorded a live studio sessions album of some of their most beloved work. It’s been 23 years since they first got together, and their latest album drew from all those years of experience while exploring new territories.

First up is a mighty fine rework of Azymuth´s „Jazz Carnival“ by Brazil´s greatest, DJ Meme. 
In fact, Marcos Valle is on the keys here and some original members of Azymuth were involved on the drums..just beautiful!
Next it´s the Lovebirds giving us The Path 2011. This might sound familiar, done very successfully from Ninetoes before, but Lovebirds did this
cheeky thingy already in 2011! We have that feeling that it might be big again this year….
We are so happy to welcome back another old friend of ours, Matty Heilbronn ( where have you been hiding? )
Matty did an amazing edit of Teddy Pendergrass´ ´“You can´t hide“ and will have another huge song out on Peppermint Jam very soon!
As if this won’t be enough, we are proud to present an original song of Funk legends, Mandrill. The Reflex just took this baby to another level…
