Last week we premiered Marquis Hawkes' remix of Youandewan on Aus Music and we're following that with something from the label's new addition, Escape. 

'Just Escape' will be the Glasgow producer's first EP on the label, with more to follow, and he's introduced himself with a delicately crafted piece of house swimming in beautiful string work and Daudi Matsiko's crisp vocals.

The musical output of Sprechen officially gets underway with an outstanding EP of mutant, stomping, twisted disco from Damon Jee that comes with 2 mind melting remixes from Hardway Bros and Il Est Vilaine.

Summer No Summer kicks of proceedings and instantly gets you on the hook with a powerhouse snare stomp thats soon partnered with a low slung arpeggiator bassline and warped pads, wonky crashes…an all important change in key will make your dopamine levels boil over and the dance floor look like a scene from Backdraft…reach for the beans, its a hell of a builder!

Cuir Rouge thunders out of the gate in the same manner of its predecessor and continues to wiggle its hypnotic wonkiness across its 6 & 1/2 minutes run time…perfectly placed drops & sweeps along with some nightmarish stabs for added weirdness lead the way for a pretty awesome breakdown to allow the lasers to be reached for….stick it up to Defcon 10.

Hardway Bros tackles Summer No Summer with remix gusto and the result is a full on Balearic-psych workout that will guarantee to take matters on a techni-coloured trip to the dance floor cosmos…with some added guitar twanging by Tici Taci's very own Duncan Gray, this remix is prepped & ready for those moments when you really want to throw things as leftifeld as possible and take the audience along to phase 2 of the journey.

Having had a recent sell out release on Kompakt the guys from Il Est Vilaine sprinkle some remix dust over Cuir Rouge and completely flip the script…soaring pads from the get go lead the way to some dubbed out vocals of their very own before dropping with a full on slamming bass line & echo'd synth lines…this is main stage action at its finest!

Produced by new beat hero Kaytranada, "Dance" is unlike anything we've heard from Rome before — a melodic anthem in the grand tradition of dance-my-pain-away jams.

The single is another pleasing curveball from this one-of-a-kind artist, who's equally at home trapping in a jeep with ILoveMakonnen and Rich The Kid on "No Ma'am" as he is guesting on Four Tet tracks and popping up at Boiler Room. 

With his first international tour on deck and the single release (accompanied by a unique app that lets Rome chat direct to fans - and put his blue beard on their own pics!) the future is looking very bright for Rome.
