Hey Jones, is a great pleasure to find your tapes here. I met the Cosmic sound back in 89 in a student trip to NY where I was roomate with a cool german guy from Munich called Peter Winkelmann. He had ten tapes that we used to listen very carefully and which I have copied. Unfortunately I lost contact with Peter but still have and love some of this tapes!

This is the first real practiced Cosmic Music Mix I ever made. In the good old times we had 2 1210 Technics Turntables with a really lousy mixer, don't remember the name. But it had an EQ to produce some "Cosmic Music Effects". My friends all like the Mix, I think  because it contains many popular songs which were released in the beginning of the 90ties. Mixing is ok for the first try I guess. Quality is medium, as it was recorded, what a wonder, on tape. So sry for that. Hope you still can enjoy!!!

Absolutely this match is with one of the champions of the Disco.
Beppe Loda, percussionist, composer, and italian electronic dj and producer, began his experience as Dj in late 1973 at Kinky Club in Manerbio. It stands out immediately for its unusual style, playing rock songs inserted in a funky-disco musical context. In the late '70s confirming his unique style began to approach the African music, space disco, electronic dance and new wave. At the end of the 1980s he began the collaboration with the Typhoon Club (a custom-built venue for Beppe Loda following all his indications), a collaboration which gave rise to many musical trends in the years that followed and influenced the entire Italian alternative music scene today. also abroad.
