Aujourd’hui nous avons droit à un joli fracas de la part de @leonlouder, grand spécialiste du maniement des fragments rythmés. Sa carrière recoupe presque parfaitement celle de Schizophrénie, avec un premier EP paru en 2003. Depuis, il n’a jamais cessé de faire paraître des simples, remix et collaborations sous son nom ou sous son pseudonyme Vertigo Inc. Son dernier né, Entomophonie (paru en septembre 2023), une commission de l’Insectarium de Montréal, est composé uniquement de sons d’insectes. Il a également mis la main à la pâte en mettant en place l’étiquette @unfulfillment, faisant paraître les disques de plusieurs artistes partageant son esthétique parfois abrasive, notamment les montréalais Bouche Première et @oacem, ainsi que l’ottavien Classics of Form. Il nous présente ici un mélange de son matériel (incluant plusieurs inédits), celui de ses amis et “other stuff I like”, mais l’ensemble est incontestablement du Leon Louder.
