This is a mixtape I made back in 1996 by recording select songs from the Indianapolis Hip Hop radio station Hoosier Hot 96.3 to a cassette tape. This also contains a few on-air appearances where I called in during the "Smash or Trash" show. You can find those at time stamps: 24:18, 29:08, and 36:20.

This beat came straight from a Yamaha Portatone PSR keyboard my mother, Betty Rettig, got me when I was 8 years old. The guitar riff was played in one take for three and half minutes by James Chapman. He was adamant about doing it that way. James played with the live band many times in Savannah and New York City.
