Denied all the calls for help that found  their way to me
Give it up, cause no one’s home 
And leave a message at the tone

Deprived of a sense of basic friendly company 
You had your chance and now its gone
Pack it up, time to move along
You’ve woken the cynic that lies in me
It pulls me like gravity
I feel the pull
We crash like waves 
Rise with the tide
A full moon’s out tonight

Let the night sky receive our cries

Rely on the ones who help you up when you fall down
Forget the ones who up and turn away
They prey upon naivete

Sometimes when I’m feeling stressed I’ll go for a drive 
When I need a reminder of why I’m alive 
When everything is crashing down and I need to hide
I go there, and I breathe in, and I am revived. 

So don’t despair.
