In recent years, Just Her has deservedly carved out a niche as one of electronic music’s go to producers, with a sound and style full of emotional depth. It has seen her release tracks on a slew of notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground, Anjunadeep, Circus, Sincopat, her own Constant Circles imprint – and of course Selador, where she makes a welcome return with this essential double header (fresh from having a track featured on Sasha’s acclaimed Luzoscura album we might add).
A long-time lyricist and topline writer, Just Her is now increasingly adding her own vocals to her productions. “It’s not easy sharing something as personal as your own lyrics and vocals with the entire world, but hopefully I’m creating something people can connect to.” That Is most definitely the case with ‘Will We Ever Learn’, whose words are very pertinent to the turbulent times we are currently experiencing, bemoaning as it does the mindset of “closing doors and building walls” that is stunting progress and pushing back against hard-fought for freedoms. The low-slung musical backdrop is suitably stirring, hitting that sought after sweet spot where melancholy meets uplift.
“I just want to move people in the way music moves me” is one of Just Her’s guiding mantras, and it’s very much mission accomplished with second cut ‘Away From Here’, which is edgy yet emotive, moody yet melodic – just how we like it.
Just Her will be joining Selador’s Steve Parry and Dave Seaman, and the inimitable Danny Howells, for the launch of our Seladoria club concept – all roads lead to London’s E1 club on Friday September 24th.

I created this mash-up for my sets at Burning Man 2019 and I played it roughly 7 times across the Playa at different sound camps and art cars.

The mesmerizing introspective production of 'RAY' that Adriatique crafted goes hand in hand with the vintage classic 'DREAMS' by Fleetwood Mac. 

This is one of my many secret weapons that I made for my club/festival sets and I decided that this one needs to go public.

Jonn Connor celebrates life on a daily basis through the arts, mindfulness, and noodle soup. He also dedicates himself entirely to electronic music. He's had multiple releases break in to the top 10/20 trance charts on beatport and has also produced music directly for Disney Interactive's video game, Tron RUN/r. 

On the performance side, he's been honored with task of being the first dj to re-open one of San Francisco's biggest venues, The Midway,  post-pandemic alongside Lutrell of Anjunadeep. He was also selected to represent San Francisco's psytrance scene for Insomniac TV's 'Dreamstate Artist Series' under his alter ego Seventh Sign. 

While running a premier dj school in his home city, managing numerous radio shows, and holding it down with his local culture creators above and under ground, Jonn Connor still makes time for his fans. He does what he can to ensure everyone feels at home at his shows and that energy radiates from the booth while he is performing.
