Built on gritty drum machine grooves, chopped-up disco samples, and an unfiltered underground edge, it’s a tribute to the raw, street-level sound that defined house music’s golden era. Stripped down, jackin’, and unapologetically dancefloor-ready — this is pure classic house for true house heads.

I did this tune back in 2000 with hardware synths but never released it because it was so badly mixed. I converted it from Sonar to Cubase and made it to use only VST instruments. The end part mix is still a bit off as the final mix ended up being done during the night in a rush.

I can't tell you how happy I am that I had the opportunity to work on a remix of easily one of my favorite video games. I'm so proud of how this came out. It was difficult to find my own sound with a track from one of my favorite composers, without insulting her.
