 Jonny j first started mixing in 1998.Influenced by the sounds of jungle and old skool and listening to pirate radio including Dreamfm,don fm,and others, interested him to get involved with the underground scene. 
Jonny first started getting involved with uk garage in 1998.Influenced by dj ez,funky smith,dj hermit,frances james,karl Brown, grant nelson plus many more. 
Spending the summer of 2000 and 2001 in ayia napa when uk garage was at its peak was the main motivation to get jonny in to the uk garage scene.. 
He has played out in various pubs and clubs around the country.and holding down regular sets on the award winning freeze fm,vybe fm,lush fm,and hype radio..
