Melodic Techno and Deep House

Remcord made a special summer EP for Atmosphere Records. He delivered 2 original dancefloor tracks, the leitmotif in this release is the guitar used twice in a complete different but very original way. It's emotional music, warm and melancholic. All the guitar parts were played by Janick Heluin and recorded by Remcord in his studio in the South of France.

Templier, the title track, has a more minimal feeling and the guitar gets accompanied nicely by an organ. The drums are programmed organically and the whole track is stripped down into the most essential way for a pure listening experience. In Blouz, Remcord gives his interpretation of blues music. Evolving percussion, a groovy bassline and guitar sounds lead you into the main break where the chord progression makes you wanna close your eyes and dream away. Then comes the drop and all hands will go up high in the air!

After his major EP on Huelsuse, with a bomb Ramon Tapia remix, we are happy to welcome back the gifted French producer on Atmosphere Records with The Good Life EP. Remcord's sound has been evolving a lot lately and we have the pleasure to present you his latest two tracks, together with 2 amazing remixes by Hanne & Lore and Beatamines.

The Good Life is an emotional song, slowly emerging around a bluesy guitar riff. Hanne & Lore reworked the track to a contemporary dance floor tune and the second remix was supplied by Beatamines, who gave it his own magical touch!
Goma is the second original and again the key sound is a guitar, this time used in a more funky way and the minimal beats allign perfectly into a major break. All hands up in the air!

Remcord - The Good Life

Meet our latest addition to the label Solemn Eye. The Belgian based dj and producer already released music under his previous aliases MGC and Throb Circle on labels such as Faceless Recordings and Family Name. We’re thrilled to present you his debut EP on Atmosphere Records completed with an excellent remix by Just Emma.

Aura features a immersive vocal by the lovely and talented singer K.zia bringing the vibe to unprecedented heights. The title-track represents everything he stands for, melancholic vibes with deep immersive chords and basslines. Just Emma delivered an outstanding remix which will take the listener on an odyssey through deepest parts of House music. The German duo already released music on labels such as Katermukke and their own imprint Underyourskin Records. Wistful Ropes is the perfect track to end this superb debut EP by Solemn Eye. The track consists of spacey synths combined with a floating drum-groove and percussion-sounds. All together a must have for the supporters of the melodic side of electronic music.

Solemn Eye - Aura (Dub Edit)

In August 2016 the second of edition of the Aftrsun Festival takes place in the lovely city of Aarschot (Belgium). Since both Nico Morano and Atmosphere Records are hosting a stage on the festival, we were asked to provide the official Aftrsun 2016 Anthem.

With Happily Ever AFTR Nico Morano delivered once again a straight dancefloor banger in his own trademark style. The Belgian DJ and producer knows like no other how to gather emotion and energy in one piece of music. We asked some other artists on the Aftersun Festival line-up to rework Happily Ever AFTR. Nico's countrymen Ramon Tapia and Dimster & Tiggeri both delivered remixes whit a strong aft(e)rhours atmosphere which will do perfect during a sunset performance. To top it off we’ve got another remix from the up and coming German producer named Fabio Montana who took the groovy part of the track to a new level.

When you’ve already asked an artist six times for an EP, you just know there’s something special about his music. We’re glad to welcome you once again into the world of Remcord.

With his Sura EP the French producer takes the concept of ‘less is more’ to a whole new level. His minimalistic approach on electronic music translates itself into three immersive melodic house tracks.  With the title- and opening track ‘Sura’ Remcord raises the bar in terms of psychedelic atmospheres. ‘Jalo’ on the other hand is the kind of track that hypnotizes a whole dancefloor with its warm and emotional synth chords. Last but not least ‘Tera’ is characterized by the endless arpeggio that floats through the extremely well crafted musical composition.

With this EP Remcord proves again why he’s one of the most promising French producers out there at the moment!

We are very glad to introduce you to three new faces on Atmosphere Records. T.M.A is a Berlin based trio of talented producers with a strong feeling for Deep House with a funky touch.

The Lyra EP consists out of 2 original tracks by T.M.A along with remixes from the hand of Cascandy (Andreas Henneberg) and our label protégé Solemn Eye. Both the originals as the remixes are well crafted Deep House tunes with an impressive compelling character.

We can’t be more happy with such a quality debut by our Berlin friends. Keep an eye on these guys because T.M.A is the future!
