Very soon I will be releasing the final and finally definitive version of my LP "Don't Call it a Mixtape". This is the first single... music video coming soon to my YouTube channel, which will begin a reboot of that channel as the Dr. King edition of "That New NEW" began the reboot of this repository a few weeks ago, continuing now with this. So it is that I am at long last ready to make my triumphant return in the form of my first official debut. Ironic, yet true to form, you might say I'm back again for the first time... but I wouldn't say that, because it's already been said... irony fully intended. 😉

I added drums, looped, chopped & screwed.. and played bass guitar. was gonna play 🎸 too, but need to do some other things with my life and don't wanna over think this more than I already have 😃

Now the noodle had been flipped... and flopped... reflipped, layered and flipped again.... it's FlipNoodle City.

(also, shhhh don't tell anyone, but I ended up with three 'final' versions of this song.. oops! just forked a couple of competing parallel paths of production to try some things out, back track a little and work through again... but at the end I had two versions I liked for different reasons that seem largely the same from the outside. So, tried combining them... that didn't help... now I have three versions I like!! Anyway this is one of them. I think my fave is "Bee Edit" probably coming VERY soon, likely to a different platform 😉)

So, I uploaded one version and came to discover within a few days that I wasn't doing anyone a service by uploading what I consider to be the SECOND best version... So, I proceeded to to make one last mix, attempting to combine what I liked about each one and fix the few remaining "to fix" things on my wishlist. Anyway this is one of that last newest version and while I'm still unsure if this one is better than the others, I think it is definitely my fav - so, I'm going with it, final answer...

This is a fun song I produced and wrote flow to using Ben Harper, Blues Traveler, The Avalanche, Fatboy Slim, and some nostalgic old web funnies by Group X. This is the second track I made of what has amounted to close to ten track with flow and up to a dozen 'other' tracks. I hope you enjoy it, and keep it mind this is a 3 month old demo that I'm aware needs re-recording and mastering, but I plan to re-do all of these with the band for entire new sound based on these demos. One day Willow Sky got drunk and ran away from home (and probation) to a motel where he hid out for a few days and made three diss freestyles off the dome to social media against Lamar Glover AKA nameless in the Sparta FB group...
