The maneuver was inevitable. Only the pull of a black hole could slingshot our beaten down frigate away from the infamous Gamma Ray B. Luckily, CRH-454 was nearby, a five solar masses object that fell onto itself and created such a dramatic spacetime warp. We’d reach 15% of light speed and slow our local time by several years by passing near its horizontal.

5. Marine lifeforms
We were not even hoping to find any life on the surface of Europa where rigid temperatures confine even the most volatile of gasses into solid crystals. Insane radiation emanating from Jupiter was not helping either. However, under a sheath of ice hundreds of kilometers deep we found a liquid ocean teeming with life, none like we could have ever imagined in the wildest of dreams.

Since the beginning of Trip While You Sleep, we are making our best to subtract "the blues" from our playing, slowing down and simplifying particular chord progressions or removing them entirely, to achieve the sensation of a deep, suspended continuous tone which lays a solid foundation for decorative elements,
 sometimes resembling detailed natural ambiences, sometimes synthesized and deliberately out of focus.
We wanted to get rid of the traditional new-age instrumentation as well, by replacing what would have been pianos, windchimes and guitars with decontextualized sound elements used with the same purpose.

IooN - Cosmic Downtempo is the ambient/psychedelic musical expression of a barefooted soul anded from outer space in 1983.

IooN's music is a  slow-paced progressions of soulful melodies and deep ambient textures, synthesized and acoustic, aiming to help listeners connect with their inner self. His musical perspective comes from extensive party experiences and an active curiosity about sound.

After being fascinated by the Chill Out side of events for its ability to create a deep, trancelike state different from psytrance, IooN began creating his own deep, tribal music and emotional evocations following his Live Audio Engineering studies.

He has released music with Mystic Sound Records [RU], Spirited Records [SL], Astropilot Music [RU], Melusine Records [RO], Psyderweb Rec [NL], Gaia Psybient Collective [NL], and Mindspring Music [US].
