This track has been such a fun journey — experimenting with all kinds of synths, drum machines, and my voice — and I’m thrilled to throw it out there.

I’ve prepared two versions for different settings: an instrumental one and the original mix with vocals. With this track I wanted to build an evolving journey — starting groovy, moving through more soothing and immersive moments, and then hitting with darker, hypnotic drops. It’s my take on the deeper shades of house with a strong kick and bass driving it forward.

Pizza Ravers, as promised - our B2B Set is now online! 

This was an unforgettable special pizza rave edition where we had the pleasure of performing at Berlin’s Pizza Rave with our first B2B set as @jonnylust & @manisah_dj.

After meeting at last month’s rave, we instantly knew it was right to join forces and collaborate. And we were very fortunate to do so this August.


That evening, an electric energy surged through the air—perhaps from the 30-degree heat, a looming thunderstorm, or the thrill of fusing our track selections in front of a rave-hungry crowd. We laughed, sweated through our shirts, navigated various technical challenges, and ultimately danced the night away with an incredible Kreuzberg crowd.

Self-taught and self-produced, I'm a Venezuelan navigating Berlin's electronic music scene. This 10-minute track reflects my journey, blending deep house and electronic with dreamy analog synths and stronger beats. It was a long and crazy journey working on this project, taking a deep dive into the principles of analog synthesizers. Every synth sound was created from scratch, aiming to play around with different genres and styles. It's the first release from my new solo project, Jonny Lust.

Not Afraid is a deep tech track that blends dreamy harmonies with a strong kick, releasing in two versions—one with vocals and an instrumental mix. 
Inspired by my experiences as a Venezuelan in Berlin, the track aims to inspire a spirit of resilience and never giving up, expressed through energetic melodies, positive vibes and supportive lyrics.

This latest release from my solo project, Jonny Lust, hopes to resonate with those seeking an uplifting message of support in their long and relentless journeys.

Autumn Dreams is a fluid, deep house track with experimental elements, blending a solid kick with a wobbly synth bass for constant movement. Using a Syntakt and analogue synths, I crafted layers of spherical sounds and textures that ebb and flow, creating a soothing, relaxing and playful vibe.

This is it—the last Mix of the year. 
 It’s been a wild one. For this mix, I had one big image in my mind: Dancing away at a festival, losing yourself in the music for hours, and letting all kinds of emotions take over, leaving everything else behind.
I spent a lot of time imagining what that musical trip could be like—blending different styles, strengths, subgenres, rhythms and melodic vibes.
This is my result: Two hours of music that capture what has been, for me, a one-of-a-kind 2024. A challenging year. A defining year. A year of growth and unforgettable moments.

This will be a big night to remember. I had the honor of joining Karneval de Purim at Renate Berlin for their 2025 edition, and what a celebration it was! 
I was humbled to see so much love, respect, inclusion and positive vibes: Free of hate, of fear and of all the worries of these incredibly difficult times. Everyone just smiling, glowing and dancing through the night.
Even in the later hours, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter, happier crowd: Thank you for dancing with me nonstop and filling the dance floor with your moves, shouts and such a powerful energy.
It was an honor sharing the Green Room with incredible artists, who I was lucky enough to meet personally that night and were the sweetest souls!
Last but not least, a massive thank you to the section8crew for the invitation and for pulling off such a spectacular event. Still feels like it was yesterday!

This set comes closer to what I love to build—a journey that moves between the darker, deeper sides of house, its bouncier, more rhythmic and joyful edges, and a few tracks that challenge the classic idea of what’s expected in a set.

It reflects some challenging, yet significant and rewarding times behind me—and an ever-growing excitement and determination for what’s ahead.

Jonny Hat Lust ⎥Episode 14

My Feen Festival Set — this was a wild one!

The start was a little bumpy — the program was delayed, so I had to cut my set short. Then as I began, both CDJs started having issues with the tempo faders (the bpm kept drifting). And when night fell, the table lights failed. So mixing on a Xone:96 in the dark felt like going half-blind. But you know how it is — you face the music no matter what!

And in the end, it turned into an unforgettable trip ❤️. I aimed to stay true to my sound at the moment, mixing different styles of house in their deeper, groovier, and darker sides, and combining them with stronger emotional and hypnotic moments to close the journey.

I usually aim for long, smooth transitions, but both the technical hiccups and my own excitement 😊 pulled me off that path at times. Still, I love how the set turned into a beautiful and colorful ride of its own.
