Part 1 of my 8 hours all vinyl set at SanctuaryMTL from 2 weeks ago,  What an experience that was!!! I tend to have a wide range in the music I love and play, and part of the dilemma I was feeling was what genre to focus on not knowing, who would be there and what would they be into. As usual I over prepare, and being that it's vinyl, there's so much more to bring.
As I was warming up, I just focused on getting out of the mind and letting the music guide me, and wow, what a journey that was! I ended up in a mid 90's to early 2000's after-hours vibe, mainly tribal & progressive, I was hearing sounds in those records 
I had never noticed before, it seemed like we entered a portal and got transported to a place where this music has always been, and it sounded so timeless! That really felt good, and was worth all the effort in preparation.
