So many stories about Miami have been already told, but one thing is for sure: Miami Winter Music Conference, opening its doors every March together with USA´s Springbreak, serves perfectly as the kick-off event for the upcoming 2014 music trends. The right place for house music lovers from all over the world to join an all-day party with their favorite DJs, at the pool or night-time in the clubs. 

This is the backdrop for Milk & Sugar to release their annual MIAMI SESSIONS compilation, a double mix album with the cream of today´s sunniest house tracks around.

Next to many brandnew exclusive tunes in the typical Milk & Sugar House style on Mix 1, the second Mix this year is featuring an amazing amount of topnames from the deeper side of House. SSP (Six Sample Project) was our first initiative after coming together as DASTA. The concept was to ‘gamefy’ music making and give ourselves restrictions in terms of time & content. 
Each of us put a sample each into a shared folder and had  1 week to finish a song using all 6 samples. We did this exercise 4 times and picked our personal favourites for this compilation. Some of the samples can be heard quite clearly but some of them have been warped, stretched and altered beyond recognition.
