For their tenth release, Lunar Records welcomes Qumulus a.k.a. Davinder Virdi to the family. 
Qumulus is no stranger to the scene and after a brief hiatus honing his craft, he has served up four fervent slices of Drum & Bass covering a variety of sub-genres across the DnB spectrum.
'Desiderata' takes us on a celestial journey to regions beyond Earth while 'Insidious' is an ominous animal. The hi-octane intensity of 'Consequence' contrasts the smooth sensuality of 'Sunset Soul'.

‘Take Flight’ has lots of the qualities we love in a track; snappy breaks, lots of filtering,  soulful vocal snips, lovely warm bass, lots of space and lastly its a bit...well...sad.  There’s something quite soothing in this pensive space though. Music to cleanse the mind in these troubled times!
‘Eunoia’ continues exploring the same techniques to wonderful effect. This time though it feels much more joyous. I don’t know what flavour you call this but give us a double helping!

The duo known as Bludream has returned to Offworld Recordings with an absolutely electric EP.
Nearfield starts the journey off presenting the listener with a sublime mixture of mood and melody before driving drumbeats and incredible atmospheres combine with delicate vocals and cooling chords bring it all home.  Thrust Gravity continues the feeling of the first yet with more edge than before.  Closing out BluDream showcases deep bass, sexy synths and echoing vocals with Hollow.  This release will surely be a gem in anyone's collection.

Fresh from success on Twisted Individual’s Zombie Recordings and TJ’s Pick ‘n’ Mix label, Gravit-E keeps the release train rolling with this wicked 4 track EP featuring ‘Triple Shot’ and more.

It’s one hell of a continual onslaught of upfront drum and bass, combining influences from previous Kartoons release, flavours from the past and some brand spanking new ideas. Everything you could possibly want from an EP really!

Lead track ‘Triple Shot’ opens up with an enticing chord progression which swiftly develops into a murky roller, perfect for when the rain is coming down, muds all over your trainers and the speaker stack is booming. Minimal vibes a run with ‘Obsolete’ which is probably the reasoning for the track name - less is more here. Drone style bass stabs, classic underground breakbeat chops and plenty of head nodding.

‘Sax Machine’ harks back to the past with legendary James Brown vocals proving that jazz and bass is most certainly still alive in the scene. Big low end combined with skippy breaks and huge vibes. Wrapping things up with ‘Sphere Hunter’ which proves that long, single notes create the best type of speaker vibrations. Bass bin crew, this one you!
