That's No Moon...

So I took a short break after finishing PixelFlesh, but I have an insatiable need to write music and felt an intense urge to continue the story I started with Jacob's Ladder.
And so it seems I am destined to write music until my muscles burn and my veins pump battery acid.
So here's a short introductory piece for the next album, which I don't have a name for yet, but the story is there in my head just waiting for the songs to accompany it.

Enter The Infinite

I tweaked a few settings and found a fairly different sound, so here's a re-upload of an older song with those settings applied.
The voice clips I've used come from a game called The Stanley Parable, I highly recommend playing it if you haven't.

Imagine if you will, a large, extravagant ballroom.
The floor littered with bodies, their faces frozen in terror.
Amidst the chaos, stand three well dressed men wearing masquerade masks.
The band stare at each other worried, but one of the men motions for them to continue playing.
As the music starts, the men turn to face each other in a circle and the large wooden doors to the hall swing shut.
Now, imagine a dance move so terrifying, that three people must die every time it is pulled off. The Triple Homicide.
One man removes his mask, smiles, and begins dancing The Triple Homicide, knowing full well that the two other men and himself will die at the end of the dance.
The two men solemnly nod and begin to dance their final dance.

Hey everyone, I'm Max. I'm a guitarist and psychology student from the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and I like to make 8 bit music. Aside from that, my interests include Magic: the Gathering, video games, space and the mind.

Originally I had an account called @JonnyQ but I ran out of upload space, so there's a heap of older stuff over there if you like what you hear and decide you'd like to check out my proverbial roots :)
