enjoyed this one. well not more or less compared to the other tracks ive heard so far but.... need to mention it. sweet chilled reverseingeneerded kind of spiraling down at the end. bravo!

I think I've shared a few drinks with that guitar player, great graphic. Mucking around with gear your are not familiar with sometimes produces very pleasurable results.

This started when I was messing around with some softsynth VST's I hadn't used before and landed upon a sound I liked using one called Prodigious Synth.  I laid down a bit of an upward melodic progression with the pianoroll and that became the basis for the song.

Somewhere along the way I threw in some radio clips from the Apollo program and kept tinkering with it the last few weeks until it has become a sort of series of set pieces hinging around the same melodic cues.

Back To The Space Age

Jon Rando is just your average random guy on the internet who makes a bit of music and art in his spare time.  Alright, that's enough of this 3rd person weirdness.

I make all this stuff with Jeskola Buzz and maybe some free VST's.  I started messing around with it in the late 90's as a teen and have sort of gotten back into it as a hobby in the last several years.  I also played drums in a garage band for many years and play a bit of guitar/bass as well, though none of that here.

In addition to dabbling with music, I also do a lot of photo manipulation stuff with GIMP as a hobby as well.  Most of the track art is stuff I have altered in some way or created from scratch.

In general, most of these songs are released under CC licenses and I have downloads enabled on most of the tracks.  So you are free to use something you like for your projects if you would like.
