Kris Tidjan’s first single off his debut album, "Lords of War" is an epic and dynamic track that showcases his unique blend of ‘soulful defiance’.

"Lords of War'' is a powerful and thought-provoking track that addresses the destructive nature of war and its impact on society. Writing began in 2005 as a response to Geoge ‘OG’ Bush’s speech from 1990. The song features Tidjan's signature soulful vocals and broken beat jazz riffs. In true afrobeats style the song encompasses many syncopations which seamlessly weave in and out of each other.

‘Lords of War’ is designed to shift perspectives by encouraging listeners to think critically about the purpose of war, and also to visualize a more peaceful world. ‘...We are the small axe ready to cut them down’ is a constant reminder to the power that the individual has to change big things.

Kris Tidjan has been a prominent figure in the French music industry for over a decade, and has released several successful EPs and singles. He is known for his emotive lyrics, soulful vocals, and dynamic live performances.

"Lords of War" is the first single from Kris Tidjan's debut album ‘Small Axes’, which is set to be released later this year on BBE Music. Fans can expect more paradigm shifting and thought-provoking music from Kris Tidjan in the coming months.
