Founded as a local cover band by Suat Vergili and Sarp Keskiner in 2016 under the synonym “Almost Rock’n Roll”, THE UNDERDOGZ (Izmir) recorded this obscure modal nugget of Nick Drake for a compilation album, curated by In the Void collective (based in Istanbul). Enjoy a rarity from the band that had disbanded in 2018, featuring the one and only female rock drummer based in Izmir.

Between 1998 and 2020 Boo Boo Davis used to tour in Europe several times each year and a lot of music was written and recorded during these tours.  The current pandemic put that on hold . But with the help of the internet and Chris Brown in St Louis, the guys from ElectroBluesSociety (Netherlands) started to exchange idea's and demo tapes with Boo Boo in East St Louis (USA).

In my experience, the non-sexual, purely friendly love between a heterosexual man and a heterosexual woman is far too rare. In this somewhat older song I sing of such a friendly, almost sibling love for one of my oldest girlfriends, whom I have known for over 30 years.

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!
