I've had a terrible cold/flu for about a month.  I bought myself a new guitar (Simon & Patrick acoustic) and a new microphone (Rodes NT1A) just before I got sick.  I've been dying to put them to (good) use.  The rhythm came off the S&P acoustic one evening then I finished off the rest the next morning, using some of the grandkids' shaker toys for percussion!!!  This was a blast to put together.  First time using a djembe and first offering using a harmonica.

As for the song, well it is just about relationships and how usually one person becomes more dominant which makes it (sometimes) frustrating for the other.  Pent up frustration leads to saying mean things.  Saying things which one regrets almost immediately but you can never truly take it back (and have it all forgotten).  Been there.  Done that.  Have the bloody t-shirt.

Casey Trela recorded and mixed these tracks at the Winona House in Los Angeles, CA. They were then mastered by the Golden family at Golden Mastering in Ventura, CA. I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
