It's Human
Human Nature

We mean to Love forever 
But
Love just ebbs away

We vow to Live forever
But
Life just fades away

It's Human

Just
Human Nature

We strive for Acceptance
and
We toil for Abundance
But
What is the Cost?
- When your Spirit gets soured
And All Hope is Lost?

It's Human

Just Human
Human Nature

Human is as Human Does
We Laugh, We Cry
Maybe do some Good
And sow some seeds
And the we Die
You ask me Why?

Thoughts are crowding my head
Like Dragon Eggs
Cracking open
as I mentally caress each one
Revealing an exotic creature
-a symbol of a future path
- a future meeting
- a future destination 
How can I sleep
with such a magical visitation?

Creatures of habit 

do you eat dairy
do you eat meat
do you like to 
walk over grass with bare feet
do you rise early
or do you sleep late
believe in destiny
or leave it to fate
do you like the bright lights
the rich country smells
believe in the faerie
and magic wishing wells
I recognise you
from so long ago
but who are you this time
my friend
(or my foe?)

Creatures of habit

Mass production 
will lead to
Mass Extinction
Industrialisation is
an overwhelm
Now is the Time
To consider what we Need
as opposed to what we Desire
To think creatively
To create thoughtfully 
To return to Ourselves
To return our support
To our Planet
NOW is the Time


NOW IS THE TIME

Life’s Graffiti 

Feeling flayed alive
flesh stripped to the bone
Bleeding, reality wrenched
from the heart of the home 
Battered and Bruised
and mortally tired
Feeling hung up strung out
bitterly marred 
Life’s graffiti etched 
into body and mind
We become 
Indelibly Scarred

PROOF OF LIFE
Your heart beats
the rhythm of
your Conscious Self
Your blood pulses
the journey of
your physical body
Spirit pervades
Spirit is the fuel
Together it is
Proof of Life 
Which we begin
with a cry
and leave 
with a sigh
But Love
Oh Love
Love is the Essence
Love is the Rhythm 
Love is the Pulse
Love is the Fuel
and it has nothing 
nothing to prove.....

It's a temporary thing
This Living Fling
Here today and
Gone tomorrow
We write our Story
Perform for Glory
Until we Rust and 
return to Dust
An Ephemeral Mote
In the Cosmos' I

Dust & Glory

I bought Youth a passport
and invited it to stay
We were going to have such fun
Carousing the night away
But Time had another plan
Too cruel to anticipate
It hijacked the opportunity
And offered Age as my Fate......

And Spontaneity is slack
And Hope is waning
The Day is almost done
So little time left for Fun
Memory is my Companion
As I weave this map of Life
We carouse this Dance together
Spinning towards the end of Strife.....

Tempus Fugit (it’s legit.!)

There she stood
wild child blond hair
flying free long legs
dancing to the beat
of freedom's call
and he, Lothario
of the green places
a troubadour no less
and the river of life
flowing forever now
both wrecks washed up
on the shores of
their dystopian futures

RAVISHED BY LIFE

Oscillating between Decisions
Patterns of Parallel Lines
Life is like a Zen Garden
Lessons are Learnt
until they come around
again 
ever increasing in depth
breadth and width
the Imprint of Wisdom like Nazca Lines on our Soul

there is no highway to Heaven for you (just a helter skelter to Hell)....
when will you understand that
however clever you think you are
at hurling insults/put-downs and abuse
these arrows only serve to
give away your position in
The Viper’s Nest
Which is why we avoid you
and take the High Road
You could catch up
if you took a ride on
the Love Machine
Empathy, not criticism
whats so wrong with peace, love and understanding...
follow the signposts follow the highway to heaven
and get off the helter skelter to hell
What matters most is the Love
You leave behind....

Conjunction Song

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!

Since my heart op in Jan2021, I have had to deal with taking quite a lot of meds which have interrupted my design work - that and moving to Germany in 2020 - and back in 2021 (due to Covid my business plans stalled!) - SO, slowly getting it together…. hang tight!😊
