I often wish dreams-- or the impulse to reach for what's presently beyond us-- could be defined by science. Maybe it'd be easier to validate each other. This was written pretty close to my first track "the poem that went to voicemail", came out way later since some stuff came up & I decided I wanted to re-sing it. I'm very excited for the next song I'm working on~

It's been an insane few months for me, ever since I started music-- graduated college, went to Philippines, moved to Alaska with husband... Thanks so much for being on this journey with me so far. I have a nice camera now! I can finally get more into photography. And I started learning Ableton. And make-up. And more vocal techniques. Aaah, I have soo much to learn!! Yesterday, I started writing a dedication of this song to all the patient and selfless loved ones in my life. Then the Las Vegas shooting happened, and I was horrified by what I saw and read. It pains me so much to think that 58 lives were so quickly senselessly murdered— people who potentially loved other people in the same way my husband, family, or best friend love me. My world would be shattered if someone close to me was killed like that. May humans cherish each other through every hardship. Dedicated to loved ones everywhere.
