This week we again return to one of our founders, Joonmack.
Joon has come a long way since the beginning of Proxima, diving deep into his productions and rounding off skills in as many creative avenues as possible.
With recent releases on frisson records, digital diamonds and some very cool, yet to be announced releases coming later this year... Jack is soon sure to be considered one of the many cornerstones of Melbourne's underground.

We are going back deep down the rabbit hole. So deep that we are going to end up at the other side of the globe to showcase an Australian talent from the Alpaka crew - JOONMACK! Enjoy the ride on psychedelic soundwaves! Joonmack is a Melbourne-based producer holding residency within the ranks of Alpaka Muzik. With an intentional approach to his creations of removing any preconceived conventional formats and a focus into authenticity, his sound has quickly become apparent across the genres his tunes are heard within. This unique take has pushed joonmack towards the eventuality of all original sets which he continues to reform and develop. This podcast is the first of Joonmacks set releasings, exclusive to radiOzora.

Yo

I'm Jack, a producer from Melbourne, Australia.
I've been making all kinds of tunes in my bedroom for getting close to a decade now.
I'd like to say i'm genre-less but for the most part i've been releasing on psychedelic techno/bush prog labels.

I’m very thankful I chose the path of production, being able to express parts of my life through an audible format has not only been a wonderful therapeutic process but highly enriching for my experience in life.
I care very deeply for authenticity within the creative arts and strive to be heard in such a way, this music is ultimately for me.

I have begun works on an album, that should hopefully define the boundlessness of my craft as well as tell my story.
It'll come when it comes.
