We travel up the M6, to Manchester specifically, for the 7th episode of Odyssey curated by English techno producer/DJ Jo Poole.

A DJ for almost 10 years, Jo has played for some of the most respected parties, including Drumcode at Tobacco Dock for Techno Bible, and most recently played a 4 hour set after Pleasurekraft in the Hammahalle room at Sisyphos, Berlin. She is well known for her high energy track selections during her sets and over the last few years has been working hard to build her skill set as a techno producer and establish her sound.

Originally from near Bristol, Jo moved to Ibiza in 2019 to spend the summer working on her music production. The now Manchester based artist has been moving from strength to strength with successful releases on labels such as Ramon Tapia’s “Say What? Records” and Spektre’s “Respekt Recordings” as well as starting 2023 with the release of the hard-hitting peak time track “Cease To Resist” on Odd Recordings. 

You can expect to hear tracks by the likes of Timmo, Axel Karakasis, Jo Poole herself and many others.

Jo Poole is a Techno DJ and Producer from the UK. She is
well known for her high energy track selections during her
sets and over the last few years has been working hard to
build her skill set as a techno producer and establish her

The Manchester based artist has been moving from
strength to strength, with successful releases on many of the world’s top techno labels;
including Kraftek, Odd Recordings, Respekt Recordings and SayWhat? Records. She was invited
by Pleasurekraft to remix a track, of her choosing, from their most recent album and has also
collaborated with Ramon Tapia.
A DJ for over 10 years, she has played for some of the most respected parties, including
Drumcode at Tobacco Dock for Techno Bible, and played a 4 hour set after Pleasurekraft in the
Hammahalle room at Sisyphos, Berlin. Besides her passion for electronic music, Jo is a keen
runner and will often be listening to the genres that first inspired her out on her runs; DnB and
early 2000s Trance music.
