Featuring heavily on most of Drumcode’s shows due to his impeccable DJ’ing, Bart Skils is back with a new EP flexing his signature rolling sound and hooks. Caressing from one track to another, the use of pads in this EP and using uneasy sounds to build tension in each track. The swelling bass within each track manoeuvres the tracks into dark after hour’s territory with the help of the subtle percussion.

Hungary’s leading techno light Paul Strive returns to SCI+TEC, having teamed up with Washington based producer Zenbi on their smash new single ‘Wanna Tell You.’

Having made his label debut back in 2014, Paul launched himself onto the world stage with a brace of EPs that saw him segue from a big-room house sound into darker techno territory. A line that he’s confidently and creatively straddled ever since.

Equally at home crossing musical borders is Zenbi. Raised on a diet of Philly’s greatest electronic sons (& daughters), the producer now shares his club residencies between his adopted cities. His own staunch, groove-heavy sound is a perfect partner for Paul’s tougher tendencies.

Wanna Tell You sees the duo deliver their message through dense driving drums, glistening snares, stimulating rushes and a sinister vocal.

The pair go Dutch with their choice of remixers and hand over the baton to rising stars and Carl Cox favourites Park & Sons, who rattle our senses with their rapid-fire snares, quaking kick-drum and sci-fi sounds.

Once again Thomas and Tassilo are back and this time they come direct with three fierce cuts of proper, intense Techno. The trio of tracks all embody the heavy, dark, and psychedelic moments of wild club moments and warehouse nights, yet all three tracks take a different approach to arrive with the same intention. 'Radio Berlin' kicks things off as a hefty and infectious groove sets the stage for a swirling hypnotic tone that weaves through strong blasts of cinematic tones and booming percussion shots in a slick, spell binding ride. Following suit but turning up the intensity and adding a bit more of an abrasive touch, 'Deutsche Welle' veers into truly sinister territory where mischievous arpeggios and breakneck percussion thrive on a backdrop of eery atmospherics, flawlessly creating a rave detonator. The final addition to the EP is definitely the deepest and most trippy campaign of the trio: 'Kanal 7' is an absolute burner with an intensely addictive groove of rolling low end. Lush, spooky tones hypnotize and wildly dynamic patterns of unshakable percussion keep it ever evolving, forging a versatile and nostalgic tune with massive results.

Techno DJ/producer Joran van Pol has a somewhat special story. His debut release ‘Untitled 2’ was signed to Richie Hawtin’s Minus, followed by Joran's seminal release 'Faded'. Where do you go from there? Well, with the ‘Implicit E.P.’ on Dubfire’s Sci+Tec, several releases on Joris Voorn’s label Rejected, a remix and full E.P. ’Immediate E.P.’ on Matador’s Rukus and a collab with Maksim
Dark ‘Thrill’ on Senso Sounds. ‘Derelict’ on Pan-Pot's Second State was added in 2020.

Meanwhile, Joran kept working tirelessly to hone his craft in the studio. Inspired by the current wave of bare and heavy techno, he managed to create a new iteration of his sound. His stark and heavy, yet minimalistic, techno marks the resurgence of Joran van Pol.

Perhaps even more so than his production efforts, Joran has built quite the reputation when it comes to his DJ-sets. Starting his career at the infamous underground club Studio 80 in Amsterdam, he quickly transitioned to big venues and events like Awakenings, Dockyard, Tomorrowland, Fuse Brussels, Welcome To The Future, Loveland and Timewarp.
