Harley D brings a lethal concoction of gnarly drums and bass to the Serial Killaz label for his debut Bassline Thumpin’ EP. Everyone loves a low end rumbler right? This 6 tracker has enough of it to shake a fridge of Red Stripe to the floor.

The title track certainly delivers it’s promise of knocking you to the floor after the first 32 bars, aggressively pumping out single note stabs accompanied by cheeky MC vocal licks. ‘Relaxation’ really isn’t that relaxing at all, instead it causes all manner of robotic dance moves even if you’re sitting in a quarantine pen with a bloody mask on.

‘Badboy’ brings some authentic Serial Killaz flavour to the mix, chucking in a load of off-key bass that sounds like it’s been driven through an elephant's trunk. ‘Visuals’ is a bit of a mind screwer with vintage broadcasting vocals that would fit perfectly with a trippy lazer show although if you’re short of one right now just stick on a £10 SoundLab strobe and stare at it for 6 hours.

‘Distress Signal’ and ‘Dancehall Killaz’ feature more of the same grot, if fact this whole EP could do with a good wash at 90 degrees although sticking your USB stick in hot water probably isn’t a good idea.

New lockdown and the start of a new mix series!! Ladies and Gentlemen, Ur Nu Fish present the appropriately named series “Ur Nu Fish Presents”. Over the next few months we’ll be rolling out some mixes to keep your ears active and your hearts warm over the winter months because, as shared by the wise Colbie Caillat - “A great song should lift your heart, warm the soul and make you feel good.” And my God does everyone like to feel good. So grab your tea and crumpets as things are about to get norty. 
As we begin to ramp up the machine that is the corporate enterprise of Ur Nu Fish, we begin to churn out some of the finer productions that have been lingering about our offices over the autumn. The first masterpiece takes its origins from a small bedroom in the Littlest of Bredy’s. It is presented to you by @wiiko, who seems to express a rather stupendous take on dancefloor DNB that’s spiced and blended together with hints of rollers and jungle. A mix who’s result, after being left in the oven for 15mins at 200 C, is a subtly dark, energy-packed dish containing more doubles than calories in a MC Flurry. Recommended serving of this mix is with Peavey PV 115 15” Cabinet Speakers.

Following on from T.R.A.C.'s debut D&B album on V Recordings in 2017 we're really excited to reveal a thirteen track remix of the album: Life In Remixes

Anyone who has ever visited Brooklyn will have seen its wide mix of cultures, ethnicities, and renowned musicians living within some of the most historic neighbourhoods in the world. It’s birthed many great MC's and artists of all genres, one of those being T.R.A.C.

Recognised internationally throughout his career as one of Americas top flight mic handlers, T.R.A.C. has shared stages with an ever growing list of A-class DJs such as LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie (to name a few). Whether it’s his silky smooth verses, or his drive to deliver meaningful lyrical messages, T.R.A.C. is artist who has been quietly putting his American stamp on the UK D&B scene. None more so than with the release of his debut D&B album in 2017, Life in Motion, which boasted an impressive list of features including the likes of Calibre, Serum, Lenzman and Bladerunner. Four years on, we’re proud to unveil ‘Life In Remixes’.

The remix project sees another huge roll call, thirteen A-Listers put their spin on the original album including the likes of Benny L, Artificial Intelligence, Need For Mirrors and L-Side. We’ve already seen six chart-topping remixes peeled off as singles, receiving huge praises across the board, including plays on Radio 1, Rinse FM and more.
