Known for his omnipresence in the UK underground breaks/jungle scene rught now, Mani Festo is a producer in demand. The Club Glow co-head is now making an outing on SweetBox, following a string of releases on E-Beamz, WNCL, Hooversound and more. Take a listen to his coveted breaks banger 'Cheatin', featuring a vocal that you'll almost certainly recognise. Make sure you check out his Dummy Mix, too. Described in a press release as "hazardously sour bangers!", two-tracker 'Toxic Waste / Warehouse 2.0' is proper rave material, and we're premiering the latter below. Amid a frenzy of breaks and relentless kicks, the track spirals into an acid belter, handclaps galore and arpeggiated madness.

Herve continues to explore his love of rave and 90's house through his Hardcore Energy releases with two storming new tracks. The seasoned producer lays down two party starters. The first track ‘Make My Day’ is 4x4 banger, with heavy 909 style drums, a punchy bass line, bouncy pianos and a funky acid line, a recognisable vocal motif lifted from 80s classic ‘Pump Up The Jam’ injects the track with extra energy. The second track ‘Get Moving’ is an old school style cut, with classic breakbeats, weighty drums, and heaps of ravey stabs and samples. Heads up ravers, this is a thumping EP guaranteed to keep you moving all night long.

Energy Workshop welcomes Mincy to the series for Danceportal 27.

One of Sydney's busiest artists and label owners (the formidable Extra Spicy) has graciously put together a mind boggling mix that spans all spectrums of the bass sphere. The mix is a testament to her technical ability as she flawlessly eases through genres and tempos with confidence and without hesitation.

Mincy has just come off the back of a New Zealand tour but has no signs of slowing down. She is already locked in for another tour through New Zealand from the 21st of February and will be making her debut in Japan at the tail end of April.

On top of her highly engaged performance schedule, she has been tinkering away behind closed doors working on Extra Spicy's already impressive catalogue.
We would recommend keeping a close eye on Extra Spicy's next few announcements. Let's just say some big shows featuring internationals and a full release schedule for upcoming Extra Spicy releases featuring a host of new names and talent.

We are back with another hour of groovy tings from the UKG end of town with Eora based lord COTTO. Catch him at our June Long Weekend Daydream w/ STÜM.

Groove don Cotto brings to the Daydreaming soundscape his signature style of warped basslines, uplifting melodies and vocal redubs. This mix comes as but a taste of the emerging selector’s talent, interspersed with released and unreleased gems from himself and other local and international artists. 

His production resume speaks to an understanding of music transcendent of genre, with a repertoire populated by speed garage, 2 -step UKG, new wave tech and minimal. Consistent releases both personally and on discerned international labels have earned him plays across his home city of Eora/Sydney and throughout the UK.
