Part VI: View Of The Sunrise

A simple acoustic cover of one of my favorite ballads. Done on a Taylor Big Baby acoustic guitar and recorded through Garage Band on a Mac Book. Wanted to keep it simple. Didn't do any layering, and didn't go back and fix mistakes. This was all done in one take, with some reverb added through the program. That's it.

Dagger (Slowdive Cover)

A cover of one of favorite songs by Nine Inch Nails, done completely by me on a Taylor acoustic guitar. I used garage band on a Mac computer to record 3 separate tracks. This allowed me to have 1 vocal track with no effects on it, 1 clean sounding guitar track, and one distorted sounding guitar track all at the same time. I hope you enjoy it!

Right Where It Belongs (Nine Inch Nails Cover)

A cover of a great bossa nova sounding guitar piece by Between the Buried and Me on their album Alaska. This cover was done completely by me on a Taylor Big Baby acoustic guitar. I used Garage Band on a Mac computer so that I could record and layer 3 different tracks together (2 guitar tracks layered on top of each other to give it a fuller and louder sound as well as a track of me snapping with some echo on it to provide rhythmic sounds of drums) . I hope you enjoy it!

Laser Speed (Between the Buried and Me Cover)

A cover of the song "Chasing Cars" by the indie/alternative rock band Snow Patrol. It is dedicated to my wonderful girlfriend Angelica Godoy. This cover was done completely by me on a Taylor acoustic guitar. I used garage band on a Mac computer to record 8 separate tracks. This allowed me to have 5 different guitars (main melody, backup tones and chords, harmonies, and leads), 2 vocals (main and backup/harmonies), and one percussion all at the same time. I had been wanting to do it for a long time and I took a while to put everything together. I really hope that you enjoy it! =)

Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol Cover)

A cover of the song "Day" by the Swedish Doom Metal/Alternative Rock band Katatonia off of their second album "Brave Murder Day". This cover was done completely by me on a Taylor acoustic guitar. I used garage band on a Mac computer to record 4 separate tracks. This allowed me to have one track of chords and vocals, one track of arpeggiated chords and vocals harmonies, one track of extra single guitar notes and vocal harmonies for fuller atmosphere , and one track of percussion all at the same time. I had been wanting to do it for a long time and I took a while to put everything together. I really hope that you enjoy it! =)

Day (Katatonia Cover)

This is an acoustic cover of the song "Tautou" by the Brand New, the opening song off of their second album Deja Entendu. The song was recorded using a Big Baby Taylor Acoustic through Garageband on a Mac Computer. 4 separate tracks were used so that this song could be put completely together. 2 tracks of guitar and 2 tracks of vocals and harmonie. Formed on July 4th, 2011, we released our debut album “A Night for the Troubled” on August 5th, 2016. We are currently in the process of mixing our follow up.
