Its a mix of styles as well as newer/older tunes. It was a unique set in that it was recorded live for my monthly online radio show at an event in the Second Life virtual world.

With everything going on in the country and the world on this Trans Day of Visibility, I thought I'd upload this song I made about being trans, proud and strong in the face of adversity.

Trans and Proud

The original of "They Say Vision" always spoke to me and got me through some rough times. Additionally, Res and I are both from the same state and both influenced by Fleetwood Mac.  When I first heard CDM I though this of song remixed in that context immediately. This is the result.  Don't worry, I'll be posting some D&B, Electro and Future House soon too!

This was my first live online mix in over a decade. Forgive my rusty skills. 

This set was not about the latest tune or the flavor of the month. This set was about a vibe. This set was about rock. I picked some of my favorite rock and metal influenced DnB tunes because that's where my head is at and that what's fun for me to mix, when I do mix.

I heard this song in a dream where I was listening to something online and the DJ said "This is Jordana's new dubstep tune." which is funny because I never really thought of making a Dubstep tune. I am not sure this even IS dubstep and it is certainly NOT a finished tune but it's what I heard in my dream. When I awoke I went straight into the studio to put down the sounds. There was also a vocal in the dream of me singing and I wrote down all the words but I have yet to record the vocals.

Jordana LeSesne is a musician, DJ, and producer born in Pittsburgh, PA. 

As both a DJ and Producer she has toured the world and played alongside many of the top DJs in the world of Dance and more specifically Jungle/Drum'n'Bass music. She has also worked with artists such as Mike Joyce (formerly of The Smiths), Deborah Harry and Blondie, Lady Sovereign, MC Kinky from London/ffrr, Yellownote, Soulslinger & TC Izlam from Liquid Sky Records. 

The Pittsburgh, PA native first came to popular attention in the mid 90s as one of the first respected producers of American Drum N' Bass. In 2001-2003 Jordana was known as Lady J and was a regular DJ on FLEX FM in London, UK. Talent runs in the family as she was related to the late Tupac Shakur. 

Currently she has returned to her pre-DJ/producer roots of rock, helping to found and front a melodic goth metal band in Seattle. 

She is also working on a new Drum 'n Bass EP full of new original material.
