the good news: attached is the instrumental version of my latest track.  this isn't one of the professionally recorded ones--we're gonna try to lay down all these instrument tracks in the studio tomorrow, if we have time after doing vocals on the last one.  wrote, recorded, and mixed this one myself at home, but it's definitely good enough for government work.  anyway, i thought it might be fun for you to pull the instrumental version into garageband and try your hand at writing and recording a vocal melody + lyrics over it.  i'm interested to see what you can come up with, and to compare it to the direction i went with it.  you game?
