This is an experimental piece focused on creating noise and texture.

Weeek 1: The Siren's Song

Subtle

I am a self-taught pianist who's goal is to make introspective and raw pieces using recordings that aren't necessarily polished, but instead are real and relatable. I am currently using a Yeti by Blu to record my ancient Kimball piano. The piano isn't the best, nor is it the most tuned, but that's what I want. I have the mic set up to pick up the organic sounds of the piano (creaks of pedals, hammers hitting strings, etc.) as well as the organic sounds of the environment like my breathing or (occasionally) my cat. I hope you enjoy simple an sad music!
