Located in Tempe, Arizona, Kathy Husser has over 20 years of experience in libraries, specifically in public service, administration and information resource trends such as the Book Bike and Writer’s Forum. Kathy has also become involved in a number of associations related to her industry. One of her most notable accomplishments was being named the Arizona Legislative Chair and having the chance to represent the Arizona State Library at annual national meetings from 2014-2017. During her time at the Tempe Public Library, she also played a big role in the library becoming one of three other Arizona library systems that became nominated for the IMLS National Medal in the past 25 years.
