Miami based DJ and producer Jonny From Space moves stealthily, but distinctively throughout the music realm. His creative ventures seep into different areas within the sonic scene - from releases on labels like OMNIDISC, Space Tapes and Schematic as well as collaborations with Danny Daze, Nick León, Coffintexts and INVT.

JFS is a resident DJ and key member of Club Space and III Points Festival. His latest endeavor is cofounding the party series ODD (Objects Don’t Dance) with friends and collaborators Sister System and True Vine. JFS produces a range of sounds with no constraint - drummy ambient techno sounds, ethereal downtempo melodies, droning sonic syncopations, all shaken down to the core.

After a string of self releases and fresh off 2 collab EP’s with both Danny Daze on his OMNIDISC imprint and Coffintexts on her label, Jonny follows up with his first solo EP for OMNIDISC, ‘No Swim Advisory’. Inspired by his home in Miami Beach, Florida, Jonny channels the energy of his beloved hometown while exploring different takes of techno / electro with sub-aquatic themes, latin infused drum patterns, Miami bass, and the chaotic nature of Miami nightlife. No Swim Advisory is a dedication to his home in South Florida, known for its vast wetlands and beaches that make up an elaborate, yet fragile, ecosystem in which its inhabitants depend on one another for survival. The wetlands have been constantly overlooked and considered useless areas up for development, despite its massive importance to the water supply and being one of the most productive and diverse ecosystems on the planet.
