I wrote this song in the early months of 2022. The first few verses came to me while I was driving, and I had to rush home to write them down. It’s a conversation. It’s a prayer, moving back and forth between the contradictions of deeply desiring change, and feeling too tired to actively pursue it. If you’re into that sort of thing, give it a listen!

This little verse hit me in June, and I figured it would never go past the 45 second mark. But, I haven't finished a song in about two months, so I figured I had more to say with "Bird Call" than I originally thought. I still don't know exactly what I mean by it, but it's a cool song title.
