P.s. - This track is my first collaboration with the AWESOME RAPPER - Explory! - He is an amazing France based hiphop artist who writes DOPE ass AND positive minded hiphop - often with his lil bro SINAY.
He raps in English too. But I insisted he write in French for the sheer beauty of the romance language, as well as his keen ability to FLOW in his home language.

2nd on the collab train is my beautiful and wonderful partner in life, Hoog$traten. I really pushed for her to write a verse for this song, and it woun't be the same without it! I LOVE YOU MORGAN.

I recorded the original lead piano of this song IN PURE LOFI fashion - on my cell phone - @ a cute little place called WEEDS CAFE in Calgary AB(which has a stand up grand piano in the back room!) 

I also added some more piano later from my home studio in which, luckily, i have a very similar sounding piano!

There is a ton of GREAT ambient noise in the loops that I used in the final mix. Places clanking and the drone of cafe-goers chatting about, and the beautiful echos of reverb in the rooms..

The drums are a mix of beat boxing and midi samples, as well as some clave's that a friend of mine recorded at a distance! He also recorded the MELODICA you here come in half way!

The violin plucks were also recorded via cellphone from another of my good friends at their home!

Finally, the BASS layer is actually just ME going "bumm.. bumm.. bumm..." and pitched down 1 octave!
