The original version, a collaboration with Hudson Mohawke, premiered on Pitchfork and became an instant favorite amongst fans and critics alike.

Young artist @charlottedewittemusic continues to bolster a credible catalogue of tough, no-nonsense Techno with the introduction of her second solo EP for Tiga’s extolled Turbo label. With a recent nod from Alan Fitzpatrick who included her Weltschmerz (Melodic Theme) in his recent Fabric mix she is an artist with a penchant for dark and moody atmospherics. Now - after her inclusion in the recent 12-track VA on Suara - the previously gold-selling Ghentian producer follows up her collaboration with Oscar & The Wolf and her first solo EP on London’s Bad Life with Sehnsucht: a bold four-track record packed with burly kick drums, steely synth tones and hypnotic vocal sampling primed for discerning big-room crowds. Also included in the package is a ruthless remix from Suara boss Coyu.

The title track is an apocalyptic march propelled by a purposeful kick and an unapologetic clap that keeps the pressure up throughout before ‘My Feeling’ lays a circling, hypnotic vocal over scuttling claps and luminous, flashing hi hats. Coyu then steps in with his take on ‘My Feeling’, pushing it into overdrive and marrying brash, white-noise snare drums with shuddering hats and vocal snippets. ‘Enough’ then sets sharp drums knocking against cold and capacious textures before a disquieting and arresting vocal suffuses the track to stunning effect. ‘Den Ganzen Abend’ then brings the record to a sinister close as a pellucid German vocal sample is set creeping over an ineffably weighty low-end sitting it comfortably on the floor of Berghain and capping off another coup for a consistently reliable label and an artist firmly on her ascent.

Senso Sounds drops a major release from techno heavyweight Dubfire and label boss Oliver Huntemann. Reuniting the partnership that has seen a string of seminal releases over the years in the form of their 'Elements' series, 'Humano' is the 2nd part of a continuation of this series - more weapons of grade dance-floor material from the high profile duo. Later on this year their partnership will be summarized in their 'Restrospec- tivo' album.
Former Deep Dish man Dubfire’s uncanny knowledge of how to create epic dance- floor moments is in full effect, combined with Huntemann’s precision tool production techniques on the original version of the title track. The result is a super tough, tight and incalculably driving slice of techno goodness that will ignite floors worldwide. The rest of the EP manages to maintain the pressure - with a set of sick remixes from Victor Ruiz, Hatzler and Shaded.
Ruiz, the Brazilian techno pioneer adds another level of fire to the original, tweaking and refining the track into a damager that pushes everything to 11 and hits home with every play. Hatzler, the Hamburg based German DJ/producer chooses a different direction - emphasizing more of the space in the original. Rinsing the tension to the next level, look out for the epic middle section break down. The whole package is primed to destroy clubs far and wide - techno at its most effective. Shaded’s Summer Skin remix also delivers a tightly wound interpretation, with a bubbling bass line and nervous, excited groove providing the fuel for an extended dancefloor excursion.
