The song "Mountains" tells a story about a mountain hike which turned into an eye-opening experience. The mountains resemble the 'mountains' that we climb within ourselves. We overcome obstacles, we struggle with inner strife and we face the highs and lows of our emotional life.The upward and downward motion is a continuous natural cycle that we experience on all levels. I traveled to the Yunnan high mountains, in China, together with my wife. Especially to my wife it has been a meaningful experience, therefore I dedicate this song to her and she also partakes as 2nd vocalist. At the same time, my music is an ode to Mother Nature.

Independent Artist: Guitarist & Singer-Songwriter. Born in Holland, half Dutch and half Spanish, and he has been residing in Barcelona (Spain) for about 15 years. It's also in the city of Barcelona where he studied at the Music College of l'Aula de Musica Moderna i Jazz, belonging to the main Barcelona Conservatory. He chose to follow the path of Jazz and soon became active in the Barcelona jazz scene. Over the years he got attracted to a more quiet and acoustic style of music. He had always considered himself to be primarily a guitarist but he became a singer-songwriter/composer. His music could be described as indie-folk, influenced by American folk music, old finger style blues and the sound of the 60's and 70's and artists such as Iron & Wine, Sufjan Stevens and Simon and Garfunkel.
