In its 8th release dsrptv rec welcomes the producer and musician from Santa Catarina Kika Deeke. The artist brings her characteristic identity between organic and synthetic to the Céu Aberto EP release. Featuring two original tracks, “Céu Aberto” and “Água Salgada”, the first one with Inácio on vocals, the piece also features two remixes signed by Cauana and another by the label itself.
The salty breeze evaporates through the sun heat and carries a soft and harmonic freshness. Céu Aberto prints solar and vivid textures to the sound of Inácio's welcoming voice, leading the verses along with the artist's organic timbres and arrangements.
For “Água Salgada”, Kika builds a soft and summertime atmosphere in a multi-sensory experience connecting textures that echo between the movement of the sea and the sound of birds, presenting analog instruments that illustrate the feeling of a warm evening.
For the remixes, Cauana brings the essence of “Céu Aberto” in a dark, enigmatic and experimental atmosphere. In the dsrptv rec version of “Céu Aberto”, the label bets on a percussive instrumental reinterpretation guided by the drum groove that surrounds the dancing atmosphere of the original song
