Rhythm is the foundation for Chilean producer and DJ Jorge C.
The strong rhythmic bonds formed from an early childhood fascination and adrenaline from the sound of the drums to the innovations of the electro mono machine still carry an impact on the production of the long time producer.
These connections along with the influences of old pioneers like Eno or Vangelis have shaped an unusual musical palette that is distinct.
The founding of his label ​Ojodeapolo has given him the room to explore his own pathways embracing two worlds from 90s Detroit/Chicago house to future jazz, rare funk and disco. As a performer and DJ Jorge C has traveled to various places in South America like D-Edge at Sao Paulo , Europe playing at Paloma Bar Berlin and also in Japan.
He had releases on labels in vinyl format like: Matrix Recordings (Detroit), DeepArtSounds (Zürich) and Dopeness Galore (Amsterdam). His own label Ojodeapolo.cl has been too a platform to spread his own work and to include the participation of producers around the globe that he respects.
