When it comes to his presentations, he seeks freedom in music, demonstrating a solid sound, creating hypnotic environments and providing the versatility and insight that characterizes Luca in his DJ Sets. 

Under the alias "Luca Notdead", his focus is to experience a more rave sound, using fast bpm and impactful melodies, obtaining a different facet within the techno style.

Luca has productions on labels such as Survival Alliance, Apical Records, Binaural Records (Colombia), and Research From Space (Italy). Currently he continues working on improving his productions and experimenting with the live act process.

Italian based EXTEND Records is delighted to present its first release: JRD debut EP ‘Archaism’. Hailing from Antwerp (Belgium), JRD has made his own identity in the Techno scene being a respected and estabilished figure in Belgium for more than 30 years. He first unveiled his work to the public as a producer on a few compilations starting in 2021 via Token, Mindtrip and Prophet. JRD now makes his first appearance on a full-lenght EP with 4 cuts of classic techno sounds, a journey through his own signature, including a remix by no other than Conrad Van Orton. 

Starting with ‘The Search’ a track built on atmospheric shifts and a solitary bass drum that certainly sets the tone of the entire EP and opens to the dream with suspense. JRD then takes down the narrative tone notch to make space for 'Archaism'. Several drones and ambiences floating over a repetitive groove wisely administrated for an exceptional mental hypnosis. We are then gripped by an eclectic third track, 'Rude', a relentless rhytm with driving synth line perfectly arranged and plied along its run time to generate a palpable tension. Jordy then guides us to the final journey of 'Responder', an ethereal conclusion to an suspenseful adventure. To top it off, the release is provided with a remix that leaves no room for interpretations. Italian longstanding artist Conrad Van Orton turns the title track ‘Archaism' into a true peak-hour beast.

Today, we are announcing our 3rd international podcast series, featuring our new guest, Lucas Nuedling from Halle, Germany.
Lucas is a DJ, producer, and visual artist from Germany, currently based in Halle. Early on, he was influenced by the Frankfurt techno scene, which led him to start producing over a decade ago. A few years later, he took his first steps in DJing and developed a distinct taste, focusing on interesting sound design and organic grooves—highly functional for the dancefloor.

His mix begins with dubby vibes and seamlessly blends through the deeper realms of techno, featuring powerful low-end and driving percussions.

Berlin techno talent Regent channels his signature depth and drive into a new outing for MALöR Records. With each release since his inception in 2020, he demonstrates the versatility of his sound and his ability to convey profound narratives across a spectrum of techno sub styles.

After contributing a standout track to the label’s Purveyors Of The Groove Vol. 3 compilation in 2023, he now returns with a highly cerebral yet anthemic and dance floor-destined 5-tracker EP: Cratea.

The A-side kicks off with the EP’s standout cut, 'Refiction', a sinister, forward-marching piece laced with spooky, psychedelic vocals and dripping in LFOs and mind-boggling soundscapes.

It’s followed by the title track 'Cratea', shaped by steady bleeps and an evolving, echo-drenched synth that bounces erratically from start to finish, driven forward by thick claps and floaty rides.

On the flip, 'Origins' delivers a steady, hypnotic tool built on organic bass sounds, gnarly percussion, and wet vocal chops, peaking with four-to-the-floor claps that are sure to lock in a busy dance floor.

'Null Model' follows with a signature Regent groove, fusing driving 909 drums with a clever interplay of short synth stabs and warped-out voices, resulting in a deeply trippy, almost paranoid atmosphere.

Closing the record is 'Stealthless', a stripped-back yet uplifting techno tool, offering moments of synth euphoria and harmony while remaining deliberately restrained and minimal by design.

A versatile release made for different moments in the night, designed to guide dance floors through profound, body-moving journeys.
Best served on powerful sound-systems.
