A short etude from the avant-garde movement "Musique Concréte", which emerged in the 1950s.  According to the ideas of this movement, this piece is based exclusively on self-produced sound recordings, in this case of a violin and textures that were created during the recordings.

As a drummer I love every percussive Instrument out there. This time I have chosen the Snare Drum to transform it into a piece. Everything you hear comes from self - made recordings of a snare drum, enhanced with various processes such as granular synthesis and resampling.

TreeTone was produced entirely digitally and explores the relationship between algorithmically generated structures and repetitive rhythms.

I am pleased to be able to present a somewhat more personal track. What you hear is a system that randomly generates chord structures. Once, when I listened to these structures for a long time and fell into a melancholic tunnel, I felt the need to record my thoughts on them. The spoken words are therefore less meaningful sentences and more fragmentary output of my thoughts while listening to the structures. Once again, I am delighted to see my ideas inspired and visualized by HINGAR's unique work.

Chords

Joris Kindler is a German sound artist who combines algorithmic approaches with the processing of emotions. Originally coming from a drumming background, he uses digital software to explore ways of creating unconventional sound experiences, involving live performances, theater scoring and audiovisual projects.

He is currently working on “Algosphere”, a project that includes several singles and EPs and was created together with visual artist Syed Muhammad aka HINGAR to create an audiovisual experience.
