N'to - Petite

Alright, here is my latest EP. I never know what the best strategy is in terms of releasing EP's. I know I haven't spent weeks hyping it up but as soon as I think a project is ready I want you guys to hear it as soon as possible. That does mean however that sometimes the albums don't reach as many people as they could, which is why it would be amazing if you guys could share the album if you like it. Doing everything myself in terms of making, releasing, and promoting my music is hard sometimes, so I would really appreciate any help you guys could give me. 

In terms of the EP, I ask you to approach it with an open mind; as with all my releases, it consists of many different genres, and the freedom to explore different styles is what makes music so exciting for me, so I hope you guys enjoy it. On the whole the album is more upbeat than some of my other stuff, and each track has a huge amount of time invested in it, and is the result of layer upon layer slowly being built up, so take some time to really listen to the songs and pick them apart. My newest pesonal EP, with more personal tracks than ever been released. The Wolf goes over the people who are crazy about Bram, a wolf young who (persumely) has bitten some kids at the Utrechtse Heuvelrug Park, When 1 September brings you in a remembering state about how evil and sad this month is, what this is the month where 9/11 happenend, where The Leaves Fall deals about the house market crisis in The Netherlands, where i ask myself of i gonna leave to the USA or stay in the Netherlands with my elderly parents, The Last track is not less personal like the others, what it is about people bidding to the lord to protect them. I hope that you like the music this week.

Next up is the very ambitious and powerful "Millenium". Its main theme intricates perfectly with the more clubby elements of this techno anthem. As always, Joachim pulls off a perfect combination of sensitive synthesizers and catchy beats.

Joachim Pastor is back with yet another slice of essential electronic music magic. This time, after a crazy summer schedule of playing many wonderful, sold out shows, Joachim returns to his musical playground Hungry Music.

“Mountain” is the outstanding track he serves up, and it is a distinctive endeavour with gliding and slithery synths marching heavily alongside a floating groove. The drums are subtle and precise. Organ sounds are glued into the the arrangement to increase the intensity. The piece builds and morphs as it unfolds and locks you in over the course of a seven minute Hungry Music delight.
