I've enjoyed hearing this tune played in various ways and thought I would try it out with my accordion and also with Jore @jorma-heikkil in a collab too.

Nyth Y Gwcw/ The Cuckoo's Nest

A Welsh hornpipe, though we play it a little slower than usual, in keeping with an English version of the tune we heard.

Future Wounds (2010)

Instrumental track. The drum is a ghatam, which is a clay pot drum from southern India that I have been playing for some time. Then there is a santoor, which is a  hammered dulcimer, also from India (that is sampled, I don't have a santoor although I would love to), acoustic guitar for some rhythm and arrangements, and electric guitar for the leads (a Stratocaster). Then of course there is the bass, and some synth.

Nyth y gwcw (the cuckoo's nest) is a lively Welsh folk dance using traditional folk instruments to uplift motivate and inspire viewers/listeners. This would perfectly supplement video and landscape footage where the user is looking to promote a feeling of motivated nostalgia.

Ooh no - another tree hugger song!!
I saw a report from Ethiopia where a lady had made a thriving  agricultural enterprise by creating good soil by planting lots of trees around her house!

I heard of a lady who turned her soil
from desert to fertile fields where she can plant her crops
she made it by planting
a lot of trees around her house where the desert has turned up
and the trees kept the moist in her soil

You know that the trees provide shade to the plants
which grow under the green leafy tree tops
they also give us people
a lot of fresh air and give us shelter from the heat
