HLMNSRA - Monsters In My Closet (KRR SoundCloud Exclusive)

I have written, recorded, mixed and mastered this song. This is the first of a Feature that I am launching on a new website www.thesongwritingchronicle.com.

How many you ask? 

52 songs a Year!!!

This idea came about a month ago when I was cleaning out my computer because it was getting frustratingly slow. I am a musician and generate most of my (low) income by playing guitar and writing music for other artists. I found that most of the junk on my computer was old songwriting projects and most of them were barely started. I thought that if I complete all these songs then I can delete the information on my laptop and therefore have a faster laptop. As this idea brewed in my head, there was no reason why I couldn't release all of this material. This idea grew and quickly became more than just a need for a faster laptop.

It became a project where I intend to write, record, mix, master and release a song every week (monday except this one). I will keep this project free and hope that it grows big enough to generate income though other avenues,  This is a substantial amount of work especially as I have a job and gig on weekends but this is something that as of today, I am fully committed. There will be more features and article to accompany my songs to add more dynamic content than just releasing a song once a week.

Once I get into the rhythm of this workload I will get people to co-write songs with me and include videos, interviews and more. 

This is only a feature of something much bigger, I will launch The Songwriting Chronicle as a community based utility for songwriters. Not songwriters as in a guitar and cardigan but all aspects of songwriting. I hope that it will become an essential platform for all songwriters to share experiences, learn and inform one another about generating revenue, techniques, 
practice and approach to the profession of being an original artist. 

I intend to go into more detail about the website but for now please enjoy, like and share my debut song 'it didn't have to be achieved'
