"BLOWN II" explora la energía del aire que el clarinetista (Nicolás Mazza) impulsa dentro de su instrumento. Así, el aire empuja sonidos que en la computadora son transformados y granulados para brotar y organizarse desde el interior del tubo, mostrando una ilusión a modo del "zoom" del cine que captura lo que a simple vista es imposible de ver. "BLOWN II" fue seleccionada para formar parte de la serie del New York Foundation for the Arts y del sello INNOVA records, de ganadores del prestigioso subsidio radicado en New York, en el año 2002.

"BLOWN II" explores the energy of the air that the clarinet player (Nicolás Mazza) sends into his instrument. This way, the air "pushes" sounds that the computer transforms and granulates to then emerge and be organized as if from the inside of the tube, showing an ilussion of zooming as in the a film which captures what is impossible to see. "BLOWN II" was selected to be part of the 5 CD series from the New York Foundation for the Arts grant winners and INNOVA records in 2002.

BLOWN 3 explores bass clarinet sounds and breathing. The clarinet was closely miked to have an inner tube sensation to match the breathing voice. The piece is a micromontage. 

BLOWN 3 is abstract in its aural realism, but it is descriptive in spirit. The player’s breath (sometimes exaggerated or exacerbated) also articulates at a level that can be described as more “human”. But in all, a superhuman quality emerges, an overwhelming sense of depuration, magnification, sublimation flow to multiply the angles of perception. Inhale-exhale and the in-between sonic world.
