ABOUT THE EP:
Weka Tek brings a lush organic house release to Kosa music. Two original tunes and 2 remixes from friends Transcienic (NZ) and Beatfarmer (CAN)

Team bliss came about after Brendan was deeply inspired to write a tune that captured the moments of bliss and deep connection with some of his nearest and dearest after spending an evening lying under the stars together in the New Zealand country side.

This project is his attempt to put those feelings into music.

Aquatic is an attempt to capture the thoughts and feelings of a droplet of water as it flows down stream. Starting with it surfacing from an underground spring, cascading over rocks, winding its way through forests, swirling in tranquil pools, the turmoil of a waterfall and its eventual arrival at the ocean.

The human skin is a fascinating organ. It holds the human body together and acts as a protective layer with a membrane function. In addition, the skin is also a carrier and transmitter of information. Through it, people feel touch, temperature and also pain. Furthermore the skin shapes the individual appearance of a person. It makes feelings visible and is also an indicator for states of mind. This single by Flave & Ouhana is a bouncing downsnappy banger that fits well in a club and dance atmosphere. The driving basses are combined with vocals typical for Flave. Tidy percussions and discreet fx also round off the mix very well. All in all, both artists give us an insight into their musical skin and sound of personal system.
The remix by Deep Ändi is a captivating mix of mysticism and high energy. The robotic vocals create a futuristic atmosphere, accompanied by acid sounds and a powerful bassline that fits perfectly into the club scene.

The Middle East-influenced Zohar escape this morass of mediocrity via their organic blend of live and sampled sounds. Zohar's composers/performers are both synthesists and musicians. The jazzy Arabic trip-hop of "Midnight at the Bazaar" is indicative of the group's approach--blending mystical Middle Eastern sounds with modern technology and styles, all the while retaining a sense of spirituality. Zohar implement a wide range of instruments, including piano, trumpet, Chapman stick, bendir, and drums, and combine them with a varied group of male and female Arabic vocalists to create compositions rich with aural textures. Some of the dreamy trumpet playing even recalls Jon Hassell. There are several moments of repetition that could have been edited down, but the group generally succeeds in its quest to create modern "soul music." --Bryan Reesman

Jose Solano es músico, compositor y productor nació en San Jose Costa Rica en 1980, a la edad de 16 años inicia sus primeros pasos en la música explorando con sus primeros teclados, estudia piano en Yamaha Music School con el profesor Jesús Castro, estudia canto con la famosa Soprano Amelia Barquero( Franco de Vita,Ricardo Montaner)trabajo como tecladista con el  reconocido solista Esteban Calderón. Ha compartido escenario con importantes artistas nacionales y extranjeros como la Española Rusian Red,el Colombiano Fonseca,y los Mexicanos Jessy y Joy.
Su música tiene influencias desde Jean Michael Jarre hasta Depeche Mode lo cual destaca su gran gusto por lo electrónico, gracias a sus diversas influencias logra desarrollar su estilo original con un sonido propio.
