A dark ambient track inspired by Halloween, created with Csound. A collage of my musical past, processed in various ways to create a soundscape that is both unsettling and otherworldly. The familiar is twisted and distorted, creating a sense of unease. The result is a track that is both experimental and atmospheric.

This is the final song in the cycle Watching the Perseids, which I have orchestrated as a memorial for the poet Peter Scupham (1933 - 2022), whose wonderful words I have set in these songs. It catches up all the threads from the previous five songs and goes on to establish an elegaic mood of remembrance.

ELECTRO LIGHT

I have loved music since I was a child and it would have been unimaginable for me not to learn any instrument...
since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.
