based on "Sarah's Theme" by john debney

Telling the tale of the Pied Piper who saves a town from a infestation of rodents only to be not paid what was agreed upon.  The piper seeks his revenge by stealing the children of the village.  Using the popular theme from Hocus Pocus.

Gettysburg [DuBois Marching Band Show 2015]

Piece written in early 2015 for choir and chamber winds.  The bell part could be played on either hand bells or one person on Chimes.  It uses text and melodies from both the Dies Irae and the hymn, Judgment Day.

The ostinato pattern is built on the scale degrees 5, 4, 2, 3, 1, 2, 7, 1, and can be found varied throughout sometimes taking the form of a harmony line, ostinato, or bassline.
